1. Acceptance and permitted use
By using a CCI product or service, you agree to these terms. CCI gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable permission to use the service for lawful passenger information and entertainment purposes.
Cruise Scope v1 is intended for users age 18 and older and is not directed to or targeted to children. Adults are responsible for enrolled accounts and for supervising device use.
2. Passenger information and entertainment only
CCI products are passenger information and entertainment experiences. They are not marine navigation systems, ship navigation aids, emergency services, official weather-warning services, booking systems of record, or substitutes for the ship, crew, port, cruise line, or public authorities.
Do not use CCI products to navigate or operate a vessel, make emergency or safety decisions, determine whether conditions are safe, confirm an official itinerary or booking, or disregard instructions and warnings from responsible authorities.
3. Uncertainty and changing conditions
Weather, marine conditions, routes, maps, positions, depths, docking outlooks, port conditions, crowds, wildlife, astronomical events, visibility, and other voyage information can be delayed, incomplete, approximate, unavailable, or wrong. Forecasts describe possibilities and probabilities, not guarantees. Ships may change course, speed, itinerary, arrival, departure, or operating plans at any time.
Always confirm time-sensitive, safety-related, itinerary, and booking information with the cruise line, ship, crew, port, or relevant public authority.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of content you own. If you submit a passenger report, observation, optional report photo, private Help message, feedback, support attachment, or other content, you give CCI non-exclusive permission to receive, store, process, review, reproduce, and display it back to you or to authorized CCI personnel as the feature requires, and to use it to operate, secure, evaluate, and improve the service. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or abusive content, bypass access controls, attempt unauthorized access to restricted systems, disrupt or overload the service, use automation to scrape or bulk-extract proprietary data, introduce malicious code, or use the service in a way that harms CCI, its users, or others.
6. CCI intellectual property
CCI and its licensors retain their rights in the software, application design, databases, cruise and location intelligence, forecasts, route and port intelligence, algorithms, rankings, written content, graphics, branding, and other CCI-created materials and compilations. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials.
7. Third-party information and services
CCI products may rely on or link to third-party data, platforms, maps, weather sources, stores, or services. Their availability, accuracy, and terms are outside CCI’s control. A link or data reference does not imply that CCI operates or guarantees the third-party service.
8. Availability and changes
Products and features may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable. CCI may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue a service when reasonably necessary, including to maintain, secure, or improve it.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, CCI products are provided “as available” without a promise of uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy, or fitness for navigation, safety, emergency, booking, or other critical use. You remain responsible for your decisions and for following official instructions. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes and contact
